Business Cards
Blueline Reprographics has many options for Business Cards and Stationery to suit you for personal and professional use. We can produce in-house cards in 24 hours with provided artwork and approved graphics/layout in quantities of 100, 250, 500 and 1000.
Varied stocks, inks, finishes, styles, sizes and formats are available both in-house and through our trusted outsourcing partners.
In House Services
In House we are able to produce cards and stationery on varied stocks up to 100 pound weight in black and white and color formats. We offer design services, or bring your current files in. We do request that you provide all graphics, fonts and if possible Pantone color matching information to ensure an exact match if we are simply reproducing a current card. If we are re-designing, a proof will be generated for your revisions and final approval. In-house we run digital color or black & white. UV inks, mirror-finish stock, foils, specialized or raised ink will require outsourcing as we do not produce these items on site.
Outsourcing
Our trusted outsourcing partners for business cards and coordinated business item printing can handle larger quantity orders, specialized and raised ink, and a wider range of stock weights and finishes. We outsource your file on final proof approval, and typical turn-around time is 5-7 working/business days.
We do have expedited services available at an additional charge, and we can run you a small quanity of temporary cards as above described in-house if you are pressed for time and need cards for the interim.
Design Format
We are happy to design cards for you, or process an existing design you may have. Digital files will yield the best results, and not all designs can be replicated exactly due to various circumstances regarding graphics, stocks, fonts and finishing techniques. If you would like to bring us your design you may do so, and we will evaluate whether or not it will require modification, and what costs will be estimated based on production, materials, and stock. 24 hour turn-around with provided artwork and approved graphics/layout in quantities of 100, 250, 500 and 1000.
Color & Graphics
In house designs are printed CMYK (four color) or black and white digital on stocks up to 100 pound weight. Outsourcing provides thousands of color, stock, finish and sizing option combinations, including foils, raised ink, UV inks, high-gloss stocks (mirror finish) and combinations for creativity and bold impact.
Inks & Stocks
UV ink, raised (thermographic) ink, foils and specialized finishes. Wood-grain background, sophisticated granite, marbled stocks, pastels and eye-popping fluorescents; custom stocks are available.
Stationery
Business Cards are just the beginning. We can coordinate letterhead, business cards, envelopes and other stationery together.
Digital Resolution
300 DPI (dots per inch) resolution is recommended, and our minimal dpi is 200. Items of 'web' resolution of 72 dpi are not recommended for printing.
Linked Files
Please include all files necessary to reproduce your card: Font files and source graphic files or images at 200 dpi minimum.
Graphics
Graphics provided to us need to be a MINIMUM of 200 dpi, with 300 dpi or better producing the best results. Files need to be in acceptable format for printing, and if provided digitally- including all font files and graphic source files. We will color match as close as possible, however if you are aware of the process color or Pantone colors used, that will ensure a good match to your product.
Design
Business Cards are traditionally 2 inches in height, and 3.5 inches in width, printed on 80 pound or heavier stock. If you bring a design to us, the closer it is to these dimensions (or a proportional resize thereof) the better the result will be. We do not use Microsoft Publisher or Paint on our systems, and we are unable to open or convert these files. Adobe program file formats are recommended (AI, ID, PDF, PSD, TIFF) for best results.
